At Sandhar, we believe that when women are empowered, entire communities thrive. Through the Swabhimaan Vocational Training Program, women from the Shriram JJ Cluster, New Delhi, are gaining practical skills in stitching, tailoring, beauty culture, and basic computer literacy, paving the way to financial independence and confidence.

The program also builds awareness through Legal Sakhi and Cyber Security sessions, along with preventive healthcare initiatives like cancer detection camps. More than skill development, Swabhimaan is a journey of strength, dignity, and transformation—helping women take charge of their futures.

Adopt a Gran

The Adopt a Gran initiative celebrates the wisdom and resilience of the elderly, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and intergenerational care. Designed to support their physical, emotional, and social well-being, the program reflects Sandhar’s belief in building compassionate communities where every individual is valued.

Currently supporting 32 elderly women from the Dasghara and Todapur communities in Delhi, each “Gran” receives monthly groceries, health check-ups, and opportunities for social engagement through activities with Springdales students. The program brings care, dignity, and companionship to those who have spent a lifetime caring for others.
